Beneficial ownership reporting requirements are back in effect, with a new deadline of March 21, 2025 for most companies. BOIR was created by federal government's Financial Crimes divison. The mission of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network is to safeguard the financial system from illicit activity, counter money laundering and the financing of terrorism, and promote national security through strategic use of financial authorities and the collection, analysis, and dissemination of financial intelligence. How long does it take to Prepare and file BOIR

There is no filing fee required for BOIR but we do charge a service fee of $100 to prepare and submit your report

What are the penalties for not filing BOIR on time?

Up to $591 per day, adjusted for inflation, until the violation is corrected. The deadline has been pushed multiple times but don't roll the dice and forget because if this deadline is final, penalties will be substantial for most small businesses
